Fake Job Offers See Pakistanis Become Victims of Human Trafficking

Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Sargodha Circle, claimed on Sunday to have arrested three alleged human traffickers from various parts of the district, Associated Press of Pakistan reported.

FIA Sargodha Circle Deputy Director Ehsan Ali Hani Bajwa told APP that Saima Jabeen was arrested under FIR No. 92/2025 for defrauding her four close relatives of Rs. 2.4 million by falsely promising to arrange jobs for them in Portugal.

In another case, FIA arrested Muhammad Akmal for defrauding his friends of Rs. 1 million in the pretext of arranging jobs for them in Saudi Arabia.

In the third raid, FIA arrested Ameer Akber Miana for depriving his three relatives of Rs. 848,000 in the pretext of sending them to Saudi Arabia for Umrah. Further action against the accused was underway.
