The Punjab government has opened applications for the third phase of the CM Punjab Livestock Card, offering interest-free financing to eligible livestock farmers.
Under the scheme, farmers can receive an interest-free loan of up to Rs. 540,000 to purchase animal feed, silage, mineral mixtures and other approved nutritional products from registered dealers.
Who Can Apply?
The scheme is available to livestock farmers living in Punjab who own between five and 20 eligible male calves or buffalo calves.
Applicants must have a valid CNIC and an active mobile number registered in their own name. Their animals must also be registered and verified by the Livestock and Dairy Development Department.
Loan and Cash Withdrawal Facility
Eligible applicants can receive financing based on the number of animals approved under the scheme, with the maximum amount set at Rs. 540,000.
Cardholders can use the amount to buy approved animal feed products. The latest phase also allows farmers to withdraw up to 25 percent of the approved loan amount in cash.
How to Apply for the Livestock Card
Farmers can submit their application through the official Punjab Livestock Card portal plc.punjab.gov.pk
Applicants may also visit their nearest veterinary hospital or Livestock Department facilitation centre for animal registration and assistance with the application process. Registration for the current phase began on July 15, 2026.
