The Punjab Traffic Police have launched a new Traffic Warden System in five major cities to improve traffic management and provide better services to motorists.
The department introduced the system in the first phase in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, and Gujranwala.
The Punjab Traffic Police designed the new system to strengthen the force’s performance and deliver modern, organized, and efficient traffic services.
The department has recruited doctors, engineers, IT professionals, and other skilled professionals to improve traffic management through modern technology and specialized expertise.
Head of Punjab Traffic Police Muhammad Waqas Nazir paid tribute to officers who lost their lives while performing their duties over the past 20 years. He said the force would always honor the sacrifices and services of its fallen personnel.
Nazir also praised injured and retired officers and described them as a valuable asset to the force. He said the department would continue to value and recognize their contributions.
