KARACHI: ILMA University and Defence Housing Authority (DHA), Karachi, have joined hands to provide scholarships for deserving candidates including employees, DHA members, and their children, as per the signed memorandum of understanding (MoU).
The MoU aims to promote academic excellence and facilitate access to quality education in the community.
According to the details, the partnership will identify deserving candidates and offer scholarships in various disciplines, including software engineering, computer science, media, fashion design, and business.
Furthermore, the Vice Chancellor of ILMA University, Prof Dr. Mansoor uz Zafar Dawood, expressed his excitement for the partnership and emphasized the role of education in promoting economic development and social progress in the community.
The Director of Marketing and Public Relations of DHA, Col (retd) Kashif Fazal, highlighted the significance of the partnership between academic institutions and industry partners for the development of human resources in the country.
Besides, the partnership is expected to offer internships, job opportunities, joint academic research, promotion of sports, and joint CSR initiatives as well.
