ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, has instructed the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to prioritize the speedy and transparent execution of housing projects for overseas Pakistanis, meeting international standards.
This directive was given during a meeting on CDA development projects attended by senior officials including Special Assistants to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Finance and Revenue.
The progress on the ongoing CDA development projects, particularly those related to housing for overseas Pakistanis, was reviewed during the meeting.
The authority reported that a number of short- and medium-term housing projects for overseas Pakistanis had been initiated, with one project currently in its final stages and open for registration.
Additionally, the Minister emphasized the importance of attracting investment from overseas Pakistanis to further economic and financial development, and directed authorities to provide maximum facilities for these projects.
