GILGIT: The Pakistan Housing Authority (PHA) has announced the launch of a new low-cost apartment project in Gilgit. The “PHA Heights Minawar Gilgit” project is open to citizens from across the country, as well as employees of the federal and Gilgit governments.
The Ministry of Housing and Works is overseeing the project, which offers category D and E apartments for government employees of BPS 17 to BPS 22 and above, and BPS 1 to 16, respectively. Both categories of apartments are available to citizens as well.
Booking process:
- Apply through the PHA website
- Download membership forms, payment schedule, and project guide
- Make a pay order of PKR 15,000 for citizens and PKR 10,000 for government employees for document processing
- Pay orders must be in the name of PHA Foundation Residentia Minawar Gilgit Project NTN # 9011705-7
- Apartments will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis
The apartments will have parking spaces, nearby mosques, and schools, and will be located in a gated community with 24/7 security.
The project is available on a 5-year payment plan, and booking is on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis.

Are the retired employees eligible for this scheme?
What is the location of GB apartment and why there is so much price difference for civilians and govt employees?… The Price should be equal at least or general public should be given opportunity with reduce price. Govt Employees are already earning good salary and they further have unannounced source of income as we all know
