ISLAMABAD: Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) is set to hold the third BUILD 2023 Expo in response to Pakistan’s shortage of over 10 million houses.
The organizers noted that the rising inflation and high construction costs have made it challenging for the construction industry.
In a statement, RCCI President Saqib Rafiq said that building homes and offices by saving energy and construction costs is now imperative.
The BUILD 2023 Expo will be held from May 19th to 21st, 2023 at Topi Rakh Complex, Rawalpindi.
Besides, the exhibition will feature stalls from various industries including Property, Builders Developers, Construction, and allied industry-related materials, ceramics, tiles, electric cables, interior, paint, and hardware.
The event is expected to increase employment opportunities and reduce unemployment in the country. In addition to the exhibition, there will also be a musical evening and a food court.
A conference with panel discussions will also be held to highlight the industry’s barriers to innovation and development.
