NHA Advertises Tenders for Higways Restoration

The National Highway Authority (NHA) has advertised tenders for building and repair of roadways (highways) throughout the country that were affected by the recent severe flooding and monsoon rains.

The zonal offices are attempting to restore traffic on a number of routes, according to an NHA spokesman.

The federal minister of communications, Asad Mahmood, is in charge of overseeing the national highway rehabilitation and restoration project.

Furthermore, on the Gujrat and Lahore Eastern Bypasses, the government is now trying to clear weeds and stagnant flood water.

In addition, the Balochistani Lunda Bridge’s repairs were finished and the bridge was reopened to traffic.

The highway’s parts from Hasanabdal to Thakot and Mansehra to Gittidas were open for commuters.

For the purpose of restoring the road, mud clearing activities on the Thakot-Sazin segment have been expedited.
