Commissioner Assures Smooth Traffic Flow with Kutchery Chowk Project

RAWALPINDI: Commissioner of Rawalpindi Division, Liaquat Ali Chatta, conducted a thorough inspection of the ongoing Kutchery Chowk project on Monday.

During the visit, he emphasized the need for expediting the project’s completion.

The commissioner examined all four sides of the Chowk and assessed the progress of the project.

Furthermore, he also acknowledged that expanding the Kutchery Chowk project was a crucial demand of the people.

Highlighting its significance, he emphasized that the primary objective of the project was to enhance traffic flow and alleviate congestion for the benefit of the citizens.

Besides, he also ensured the smooth movement of traffic in the coming years, the commissioner stated that additional lanes would be constructed for Jhelum and Service Roads.

He assured the public that the project would be completed promptly to provide convenience to the citizens.

Recognizing Kutchery Chowk as a major intersection for traffic entering Rawalpindi city, the commissioner stressed that the project’s completion would facilitate the implementation of a comprehensive traffic management program.

According to other officials, this program aims to regulate heavy traffic loads and ensure hassle-free crossings for motorists.

The inspection was attended by officers from Rawalpindi Development Authority, Nespak, and other relevant departments.
