LAHORE: In a strict action against non-compliance, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) sealed the UFC gym located on the main Defence Road on Monday.
The gym’s management had repeatedly been served notices for the payment of commercialization fees but failed to fulfill their financial obligations.
As a result, a special team led by Director Town Planning Zone-V Azhar Ali, on the instructions of LDA Director General Muhammad Ali Randhawa, took decisive action.
The UFC gym, sprawling over 88 kanal of land on Defence Road, has accumulated a substantial amount in unpaid commercialization fees owed to the LDA.
The Director General of LDA, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, affirmed that the crackdown on defaulters and those violating the law will persist until outstanding fees are settled.
