Housing Secretary Warns Negligent Officers of Legal Consequences

MULTAN: The Secretary of South Punjab Housing, Qaisar Saleem, has instructed the relevant officials to prioritize the completion of ongoing development schemes under the Public Health Engineering (PHE) department.

During his visit to Muzaffargarh, he assessed the progress of 13 ongoing development projects in the region.

The Secretary, while expressing satisfaction with the current pace of work, urged the officers to expedite their efforts to ensure the timely completion of these development schemes.

He stated that approximately 80 percent of the Tayyip Erdogan water treatment plant and water supply schemes in Muzaffargarh have already been completed.

Moreover, the Secretary directed the officers to ensure that only good quality materials are used in the projects.

He further stated that negligence and corruption would not be tolerated, and any officials found guilty would face strict legal consequences.

The completion of these PHE development schemes is expected to significantly enhance the living conditions of the residents.
