PESHAWAR: The Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Nayab Ramzan of Mansehra has successfully reclaimed a widow’s property from land grabbers.
As per the details, the widow’s relentless 14-year struggle to regain her rightful land underscores the vital role of women police officers in addressing women-centric challenges.
The ASP Nayab Ramzan shared this tale of a widow’s 14-year ordeal.
The widow had rightfully received the land as part of her ‘Haq Meher’ following her husband’s demise.
However, her rightful inheritance was unjustly seized by land grabbers, marking a stark violation of her rights.
In an orchestrated effort, local law enforcement from Shinkyari, along with the tehsildar and patwari, rallied to reclaim the widow’s land.
Despite challenges and opposition, their unified action led to the eviction of the encroachers and the restoration of the land to its rightful owner.
Besides, the online community has showered praise for her proactive stance, using various social media platforms to express admiration for her commitment to upholding justice.

Land grabbing is the most lucrative business in Pakistan which can not be successfully carried out without the support of police and judiciary
So every time the police decides that justice is to be given …..it can do it
In this case it appears that the ASP had a free hand without interference from her seniors ….who most of the time are compromised.
There are thousands of land grabbing cases in the country which can easily be handled provided the justice system is not compromised
