FAISALABAD: Deputy Commissioner Imran Hamid Sheikh has disclosed that the development projects worth PKR 2 billion in Chak Jhumra are consistently moving at a rapid pace.
He stated that the people in the locality would enjoy the best sports, medical, and transportation amenities once these projects are finished.
According to the details, the development projects include the following.
- A road connecting Dry Port Road to Millat Road, incorporating Paharang Drain Danoola, that was being built for Rs18 million
- Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Chak Jhumra being renovated from 60 beds to 120 beds at an anticipated cost of Rs380 million
- Chak 107-JB to Chak 108-JB Talvandi is also being restored costing PKR 10 million
- Tehsil Sports Complex is being built for PKR 50 million
- PKR 15 billion was allocated to build an 18-kilometer road connecting Sahianwala to the Faisalabad Dry Port.
In addition, the DC held an open court session in the Land Record Centre Chak 189-RB upon his visit and issued instructions for the settlement of public concerns.
