Federal Minister Sajid Turi Inaugurates 446 Flats for Workers

QUETTA: The Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Sajid Hussain Turi, has inaugurated 446 flats for workers in Nawa Village Quetta.

He informed about the efforts of the Provincial Labor Minister Ghoram Khan Bugti and the Worker Welfare Trust for developing the flats for workers.

The minister also added that schools and playgrounds would be constructed for the children of workers in the labor colony.

It was also shared that in the next phase, the same colonies would be developed for workers in Rawalpindi, Taxila, and Mardan.

The Minister also visited the Balochistan Institute of Nefer Alooji where the Executive Director made him tour different departments.

Additionally, the Worker Board of the four provinces has also been instructed to complete the apartments and labor colonies as soon as possible.

The government has also made agreements with Europe and Saudi Arabia to employ Pakistani skilled workers.

Furthermore, more productive and comprehensive policies are being developed to address the issues faced by the workers in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The minister also appealed to the people of Balochistan to send skilled workers to foreign countries, and informed technical training centers would also be opened in different cities of Balochistan to send the youth abroad.
