KARACHI: Secretary Local Government, Housing & Town Planning, Sindh Syed Najam Ahmed Shah, has instructed the authorities to take steps for the upgradation of Shahrah-e-Faisal.
He urged the authorities to beautify the Shahrah-e-Faisal following the standards of developed cities of the world.
He ordered that an independent body be hired to manage the routine maintenance and cleaning of Shahrah-e-Faisal.
He also advised that concerned municipal committees, government institutions, and authorities should establish a joint strategy to execute the plan and to avoid uncertainty.
The Secretary stressed that the goal was to improve the image of the city before tourists, both national and international.
