ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has planned to create a thorough strategy by utilizing cutting-edge technology for garbage disposal that will guarantee cleanliness and environmental preservation.
An employee from the CDA told the sources that garbage was frequently and temporarily dumped in steep ravines and ditches, polluting the capital and compromising the health of the citizens.
He noted that CDA has already purchased land in Sector I-12 and designated the location under directions by Planning Wing.
The municipal organization has started the procedure for a survey and research of the current waste management system, and it is now putting it into practice, claimed the source.
To give the locals a healthy environment, the CDA official added that measures were being conducted to create a framework for the disposal of such garbage by international sanitary standards, he added.
He futher stated that solid waste management operations in Islamabad were carried out by adhering to the waste management SOPs.
The CDA’s Sanitation Department has also advised the general people to pack their trash in the appropriate bags and dispose of it in authorized sites.
