ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) continues to repair and maintain several government-owned structures, housing units, and multiple sectors in Islamabad.
An official of CDA stated that the government has allocated and supplied substantial cash to CDA for repairing and maintaining buildings and sectors targeted to keep the federal capital attractive and clean.
According to him, CDA is dedicated to using the money to finish the maintenance work within the current fiscal year while guaranteeing the originality and distinctiveness of the buildings to draw in both domestic and international dignitaries.
To maintain cleanliness and to safeguard the environment, he added, the authority is developing a comprehensive strategy for the disposal of garbage using cutting-edge technology.
He was irked to say that despite the CDA having previously purchased Sector I-12 land in the region designated by Planning Wing, waste was still being temporarily and routinely dumped in steep ravines and ditches.
