PESHAWAR: Through the government’s one-window operation policy, Citizen Facilitation Centers (CFCs) will be established at the village and union council level throughout the province.
As per the details, the CFCs would also include newly merged districts to provide access to all municipal facilities and issue birth, marriage, and death certificates.
The authorities made this decision on Wednesday at a combined meeting of representatives from the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), the local government, elections, and rural development departments.
Syed Zaheerul Islam Shah, the department’s head, presided over the meeting and announced that the NADRA database would also be linked with the CFCs.
Speaking on this occasion, Shah stated that the government had begun the process of digitizing all of its operations and services, which was being carried out quickly to guarantee that people could get services at their doorstep.
He said that instead of having to visit several offices, individuals would now be able to get these services by just tapping the screens of their cell phones.
According to him, the local government department and NADRA officials would work together to establish CFCs at the village/union council levels throughout the province, including the merged districts.
