SARGODHA: The construction of several road projects was approved at a Divisional Sugar Cess Committee, and Divisional Development Working Party sessions, presided over by Commissioner Maryam Khan.
One of the major projects approved was the construction and repair of a 7-kilometer road that connects the villages of Mian Da Bana and Kals Sharif via Chak Sada in Sargodha District.
According to the details, the project’s estimated cost is Rs164.9 million.
In addition to this project, six other plans for the construction and repair of roads were also authorized at the meeting.
These plans aimed to facilitate the movement of sugarcane from farms to mills in the area.
At a subsequent meeting of the Divisional Development Working Party, which was also presided over by Commissioner Maryam Khan, two road development programs in NA-97 and one each in PP-89, 90, 91, and 92 were discussed and approved.
During the meeting, Commissioner Maryam Khan assured the members that the pace of development initiatives would be maintained.
She further instructed the concerned officials that all resources available should be used to guarantee that these development projects would be completed within the allotted time frame.
