LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday instructed the authorities to take action against eateries without parking facilities.
While hearing a petition asking the court to become involved in pollution control, the LHC bench issued these directives.
The LHC also expressed concerns regarding the launch of development projects concurrently during the winter season.
Furthermore, Lahore Development Authority (LDA) was asked by the court to provide information on the development projects, malfunctioning signals, and cameras.
Before the Lahore High Court bench, the chief traffic officer (CTO) in Lahore also brought up traffic-related problems.
He claimed that traffic congestion had become a new normal in Lahore as a result of construction projects and public events.
