Secretary of Industries and Commerce Inspects Development Projects in Punjab

LAHORE: Lt (retd) Sohail Ashraf, the Secretary of Industries and Commerce for Punjab, conducted an inspection of various ongoing projects in the Allama Iqbal Industrial City, the M3 Industrial Estate, and the Development Management Company.

The CEO of the company, M Tanveer Jabbar, shared an update on the construction of a grid station and other developments such as a boundary wall, an effluent treatment plant, a one-window facility, and a Rescue 1122 facility.

The Secretary was pleased with the progress of the projects and assured that the government would offer support to the Development Management Company, while also stressing the importance of transparency in the company’s operations.

The Secretary also had a meeting at the headquarters of the Development Management Company and discussed issues related to Special Economic Zones and other such issues which need to be addressed.

Additionally, a group of trainee police officers visited the Civil Secretariat and were given an overview of various development projects and initiatives in the province.
