LAHORE: Former Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and former MNA Amir Mahmood Kayani of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) have been summoned by the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) in a housing society scam.
The ACE has accused the duo of launching an illegal housing society, Avalon City in Rawalpindi where development was carried out allegedly without proper planning.
They are also accused of defrauding people by selling more files than existing plots, without an approved map of the housing society.
Meanwhile, the ACE has also launched an investigation against another former PTI MNA Chaudhry Tahir Iqbal, for allegedly changing the site plan of a project and giving the contract to his favorite contractor.
The details suggest that all three have been summoned to record their statements.
