SOUTH PUNJAB: The Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of South Punjab, Saqib Zafar, revealed that more than 2,000 development projects worth 240 billion rupees were currently under construction in South Punjab.
While addressing a review meeting regarding Annual Development Programme (ADP), ACS Saqib Zafar instructed the committee to follow the government’s development project laws and not to cut corners on the high quality of the construction work.
The committee was also updated on the progress of 502 projects in the DG Khan division, 439 projects in Bahawalpur, and 541 projects in Multan.
Additionally, Secretary P&D Aftab Pirzada provided an overview of the projects while Secretary Education Dr. Ehtesham Anwar, Secretary Services Nausheen Malik, Secretary Livestock Nasir Jamal Hotiana, Secretary Board of Revenue Tanveer Iqbal Tabassum, Secretary Forests Sarfraz Magsi, Secretary Agriculture Saqib Ali Ateel, and Secretary Health Muhammad Iqbal were present at the meeting.
