KARACHI: An eight-year-old fourth-grade student has been kidnapped from the upmarket area of the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) in Karachi.
The victim was allegedly abducted from outside his house in DHA Phase-V on Monday.
As per the details, the victim’s father reported the kidnapping to the police and shared the CCTV footage which showed a car parked outside the house before leaving.
The police have registered an FIR of the incident under section 364-A of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) and have handed over the case to the Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC).
Furthermore, the victim’s father denied having any personal enmity with anyone or receiving any ransom calls so far.
He appealed to the prime minister and chief justice of Pakistan (CJP) to take notice of his son’s alleged abduction.
It is noteworthy that this incident is almost similar to the high-profile kidnappings of Dua Mangi and Bisma Saleem.
The victim’s family also made announcements from loudspeakers but to no avail while the police are investigating the case, but no further updates have been provided yet.
