PAKISTAN: BRB real estate developers has announced that it would sponsor the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) Pathway Cricket Program in order to develop and promote local talent.
The Pathway Cricket Program partnership between BRB Group and PCB was officially announced during an event on October 1, 2022, at PCB headquarters in Lahore.
According to the details, the PCB-BRB Group partnership will provide Rs. 30,000 monthly retainers to 100 junior cricketers while covering the cost of their education.
The Chairman of BRB Group, Khawaja Bilal Azam, stated that this was only the beginning and that in the future, BRB Group would strengthen this initiative further by broadening the program’s horizon to support and promote the sport in the country.
Chairman PCB further added, “Today is a special day for me, I took the charge as the PCB Chairman with some dreams, and the pathway cricket program is without a doubt one of them, It’s like getting a century on debut at Lord’s.”
