Call for Bids: DHA Quetta Invites Contractors for ‘Signature Houses’ Project

QUETTA: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Quetta has announced its plan to commission contractors for the creation of ‘Signature Houses’ within its residential project, as revealed in a recent post on its official Facebook page.

Further information disclosed that DHA Quetta welcomes bids from contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and DHA Quetta (C-5 and above).

These contractors are required to build the basic structures of the Signature Houses of varying sizes (1-kanal and 5- & 16-marla) in Sector A, Phase-I of the residential society.

Firms interested in participating are instructed to acquire tender documents from the Director of Town Planning & Building Control at DHA Quetta during office timings.

These documents can be accessed from June 5th to June 15th upon the submission of a written request on the company’s letterhead and a non-refundable payment of PKR 5,000 per set as a pay order for DHA Quetta.

The Facebook post also mentioned that sealed technical and financial proposals, including one original and two copies, need to be fully completed and delivered to the TP&BC Directorate no later than June 26th. The post also outlined certain terms and conditions:

  • Any documents found to be incomplete will be deemed non-responsive and subsequently rejected.
  • Construction firms or contractors not registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) will be ineligible to submit a bid.
  • DHA Quetta maintains the right to reject any or all firms based on its own rules and regulations.
  • To be considered for the project, bid documents issued by DHA Quetta must be hand-filled by the bidding contractor.
