Capital Development Authority Announces Major Reshuffle of Key Officers

ISLAMABAD: In a significant move on Thursday, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced a major reshuffle of its top officers, following approval from the Election Commission of Pakistan.

As per the official notification released by the Human Resource Directorate:

  • Mr. Manzoor Hussain Shah, previously serving as the Director General Electrical and Mechanical, has now been appointed as the Director General Inspection.
  • Mr. Muhammad Khalid Nawaz, who was the Director General Building Control, will now take over as the Director General Electrical and Mechanical.
  • Mr. Faisal Naeem, who served as the Director Technical to the Chairman, has been promoted to the position of Director General Building Control.
  • Mr. Rajish Kumar has been appointed as the new Director Technical to the Chairman.

  • In addition, Mr. Abdul Fatah Mako has been entrusted with the additional responsibilities of Road and Market Maintenance. Moreover, Mr. Omer Sagheer has been named as the Director of the Machinery Pool Division.
  • Other notable changes include the appointment of Mr. Asad Abbas, previously the Director of Human Resource Directorate, as the Director of Estate Management. Mr. Waqas Ali Khan and Mr. Iftikhar Ali Hydri have been posted as Director Enforcement and Director Labour Relations, respectively. Furthermore, Mr. Shah Nawaz Khan has been given the additional charge as the Deputy Financial Advisor for CDA.

These changes come as part of the CDA’s ongoing efforts to enhance its operational efficiency and service delivery. The reshuffle is expected to bring fresh perspectives and renewed energy to the various departments under the authority.
