ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) court has suspended the arrest warrants issued for Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif for violating CDA regulations.
The court was informed that Mr. Saif had obtained bail from the Peshawar High Court (PHC) two days earlier, which stipulated that he must appear before the CDA court without getting arrested.
According to the details, Senior Special Magistrate Sardar Muhammad Asif heard the plea.
He approved Mr. Saif’s bail on the condition that he provide surety bonds worth PKR 100 million, and ordered him to reappear before the court on January 30.
The court also warned that Mr. Saif would be penalized at the next hearing.
During the hearing, the magistrate stated that it was the court’s responsibility to serve justice, and Mr. Saif replied that he had full trust in the court.
The court also remarked that the arrest warrants were issued due to Mr. Saif’s non-appearance in court and emphasized that the court believed in delivering impartial verdicts.
It should be noted that earlier, the court of Special Magistrate M. Sardar Asif, directed the police in Bhara Kahu to arrest M. Ali Khan Saif of PTI for violating the Preservation of Landscape Ordinance 1966, CDA Ordinance 1960, and CDA Environment Protection Regulation 2008.
