ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has issued a public notice cautioning all illegal showroom owners operating in commercial areas of Islamabad.
According to reports, the Chairman of the CDA shared the notice on Twitter, stating that multiple illegal showrooms have been discovered in various sectors of the capital, in violation of non-conforming rules and lease agreements.

The notice warned that these activities violate the law, leading to traffic congestion and impeding smooth commuting.
It also noted that the showroom property owners are advised to vacate their businesses by 20th April 2023 to avoid legal action.
Additionally, non-compliance with the directive will result in lease agreement cancellations, heavy fines, and sealing of premises, the authorities cautioned.
