ISLAMABAD: The building control section of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has sealed around 47 buildings/shops in the National Police Foundation (NPF) for non-conforming use.
The CDA’s building control section sealed the properties as they were built without the civic agency’s approval.
A CDA officer told the sources that the CDA’s Directorate of Building Control South had conducted a grand sealing operation in NPF Islamabad, where 47 buildings were sealed due to non-conforming use.
Previously, in June of this year, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) directed the CDA to ensure the implementation of Islamabad’s master plan in the aforementioned sector.
According to them, the scheme runs through both Rawalpindi and Islamabad while CDA only intervened within Islamabad’s jurisdiction.
