Chairman MDA Assures Early Resolution of Traffic Woes

MULTAN: Malik Saleem Akhtar Labar, the chairman of Multan Development Authority (MDA), has stated that work is progressing quickly to address the city’s traffic issues.

As per the details, together with the Provincial Minister for Primary and Secondary Health, Dr. Akhtar Malik, and MPA Sabin Gul, he made these remarks on Sunday during the inauguration of the traffic signal that has been built at Chungi No 9.

Furthermore, Saleem Labar stated that several solutions were being explored to regulate traffic at major roads and junctions and that work was being done on a war-footing basis to solve the residents’ traffic concerns.

According to information, traffic signals for Rs 30.134 million have been put in place at Chungi No. 9, Syedanwala Bypass Chowk, Chungi No. 1, Razabad Chowk, Katcheri Chowk, Vehari Chowk, and Kumharan Wala Chowk.

Besides, Dr. Akhtar Malik, the provincial minister, stated that steps were being taken to regulate traffic by enlarging several key ‘Chowks’ to address the traffic issues of Multan city.
