Chief Justice PHC Inaugurates Judicial Complex in DI Khan

DI KHAN: The newly built Justice Waqar Ahmed Seth Judicial Complex was inaugurated on Monday by Chief Justice (CJ) Qaiser Rashid Khan of the Peshawar High Court (PHC).

Speaking at a ceremony, the CJ said that it was an excellent idea to build a judicial complex in Dera Ismail Khan as it would give residents access to legal services under one roof.

Justice Rashid declared that the structure for the court complex had been constructed and that now every effort would be made to address the issues faced by attorneys, judges, and the general public.

He added that issues affecting attorneys, such as parking and office space, would be addressed in the first phase.

Furthermore, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Service Tribunal’s camp court and Judicial Residency were also opened by the PHC CJ, fulfilling a long-standing public demand.

Alongside, Justice Rashid stated that although the camp court was formerly housed in an outdated family court structure, it was now equipped with all the resources necessary for government officials to pursue their cases without having to go to Peshawar.
