CM KP Announces First Eco-Friendly Housing Project of Province

The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has agreed to implement a low-cost housing plan for inhabitants of district Bannu.

Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan presided over a meeting on the subject during which important decisions were made.

The meeting was attended by KP’s Minister for Housing, Amjad Ali Khan, Minister for Local Government, Faisal Amin Gandapur, and other dignitaries.

The participants were informed that the housing project would be KP’s first green and sustainable housing plan with contemporary facilities, located south of Bannu and connected by the Bannu-Lakki Road.

The Provincial Working Development Party (PWDP) has also authorized PC-1 of the project, which is valued at Rs. 62 million.

The CM also gave the go-ahead to schedule a meeting of the provincial housing authority’s board in order to formally turn the project over to the housing department.

CM Khan also emphasized the significance of the project by stating that “it will help meet the rising need for residential homes in the province’s southern regions”.
