LAHORE: In an effort to crack down on illegal constructions in Lahore, a joint operation has been launched by the Lahore Development Authority (LDA), the Metropolitan Corporation Lahore (MCL), the district administration, and the local police.
Under the direction of Commissioner Lahore and DG LDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa, the operation is currently underway in various areas, including Atari Saroba, Rehan Garden, and Saeed Colony.
The joint operation aims to stop the unlawful construction of buildings and structures that do not comply with the approved maps and regulations set forth by the authorities.

In this regard, the Mall of Kahna has been sealed off for violating the approved map, which is a clear indication that no leniency will be shown to those who flout the law.
