LAHORE: Under the vigilant leadership of Commissioner Lahore DGLDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa, a decisive operation is underway to remove encroachments from nine model highways in the city.
This initiative aims to restore the original purpose of these vital roadways and ensure smooth traffic flow for the citizens of Lahore.
Over the past few weeks, Commissioner Randhawa and his team have issued multiple notices to property managers and owners who have encroached upon the designated highway areas.
The repeated warnings served as a final opportunity for the encroachers to remove their structures and possessions from the highways voluntarily.
Taking to the official Twitter handle of Commissioner Lahore, updates about the ongoing operation have been shared with the public, ensuring transparency and garnering support for the endeavor.

Take action against parking fees collected every where on roads,
Hall road, barkat market, annarkali, and where ever people found no body bother , they bring parking tickets and vehicle owners to pay
Decline to give them thay miss behave every where… Go to qaddafi stadium , in hospital etc. Please start compaingn on media print and tv also on social media to alert people and declare parking zone
And people collecting money from unauthorized places must be stop
Printed slips must only be from autorize printer and change there color frequently so that illegal parking slips must be checked.

The same is needed in many areas where shopkeepers have blocked total footpath even have been able to make intsllation of water tap along with a sink on footpath they even sleep on the footpath beside having shop rented counters remain on the footpath 24 hours 365 days metropolitan corporation do not touch them while lift all others goods because they pay bribe for that and keep on saying that my brother is a judge
I know all in vain you gave space I performed my duty as a good citizen

Please look into the smaller roads too. Encroachers are making life miserable. Warris Road is a case in point.
Car dealers were a problem now a road side eatery has sprung up. And semi permanent structures are being built.
