BUREWALA: The District Administration has sealed 5 illegal colonies and a commercial plaza in Burewala upon the orders of Deputy Commissioner Vehari Safdar Hussain Virk.
As per the details, an operation was carried out by the Municipal Department Burewala under the direction of the Chief Officer of the Municipal Corporation Muhammad Wahla, and Municipal Planning officer Mian Ejaz Iqbal.
The 5 colonies that were sealed are listed below:
- Yasin Gardens
- Rehman Villas
- Pine Garden
- Gulshan e Noor
- Gulshan e Maqbool
The above-mentioned residential colonies were developed without paying taxes and without any approved map or layout plan.
The operation teams also sealed a commercial plaza which was also built without obtaining any approvals from the concerned authorities.
DC Safdar Hussain said that no one will be allowed to rob citizens through illegal enterprises and a zero-tolerance approach will be adopted against such developments.
