MULTAN: The Divisional Development Working Party (DDWP) approved 23 development projects totaling PKR 123.6 million, including Nawabpur Road.
The DDWP meeting was conducted by Commissioner Multan division, Ashfaq Ahmad Chaudhary, and approved programs pertaining to motorways, higher education, local government, health department, and schools.
The meeting was attended by the officials of the Development department.
Commissioner has ordered the authorities to begin the tendering procedure for constructing a 1.6-kilometer-long road from Chungi No 5 to Kherabad.
He urged the relevant authorities to ensure that all development projects are completed as soon as possible while ensuring transparency.
He stated that a thorough audit of the usage of development funds would be carried out.
The commissioner also ordered the authorities to blacklist the contractors who do not finish schemes on time or leave work incomplete.
