MULTAN: To address traffic-related concerns, all major crossroads in the city are now being expanded and beautified, according to Multan Development Authority (MDA) Director General (DG) Qaisar Saleem.
He stated that the ongoing construction projects like Model Town Chowk, NLC Bypass, and BCG Chowk would be finished in the allotted time during his visit to several ongoing development projects to assess the progress.
The DG said that the relevant officials had received orders to move more quickly on the development projects and resolve traffic congestion at the earliest.
Saleem added that the city’s major crossroads were being rapidly expanded and beautified to address traffic-related problems.
DG MDA said that to maintain continuous traffic flow across the city, many important junctions’ designs were being re-modified.
He also said that recommendations for traffic control and beautification of other city junctions had been requested from the MDA’s engineering department.
