MULTAN: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Multan has recently made an announcement regarding the possession and incentive scheme for the members of Sector I.
According to a post shared on the authority’s official Facebook page, the administration will be handing over possession to the members of Sector I.
As per the details of the scheme, the members of Sector I can avail of a waiver scheme on development and utility charges in case they complete construction within a certain time frame.
The waiver of the development charges scheme will be applicable according to the following timeline:
- If construction is completed within 12 months of the DHA possession opening date, 100% of development charges will be waived. The cut-off date for completion is February 29, 2024.
- If construction is completed within 13-14 months, 80% of development charges will be waived. The cut-off date for completion is April 30, 2024.
- If construction is completed within 15-16 months, 60% of development charges will be waived. The cut-off date for completion is June 30, 2024.
- If construction is completed within 17-18 months, 50% of development charges will be waived. The cut-off date for completion is August 31, 2024.
In addition, there is also a waiver of utility charges scheme that the members of Sector I can benefit from.
The waiver of utility charges will be applicable according to the following timeline:
- If the construction of residential units is started within 12 months of the DHA possession opening date, and there are 5-10 residential units, 50% of utility charges will be waived. The cut-off date for the start of construction is February 29, 2024.
- If the construction of residential units is started within 12 months of the DHA possession opening date, and there are 11-19 residential units, 75% of utility charges will be waived. The cut-off date for the start of construction is February 29, 2024.
- If the construction of residential units is started within 12 months of the DHA possession opening date, and there are 20 or more residential units, 100% of utility charges will be waived. The cut-off date for the start of construction is February 29, 2024.
- If the construction of commercial units is started within 12 months of the DHA possession opening date, and there are 5-9 commercial units, 50% of utility charges will be waived. The cut-off date for the start of construction is February 29, 2024.
- If the construction of commercial units is started within 12 months of the DHA possession opening date, and there are 10 or more commercial units, 100% of utility charges will be waived. The cut-off date for the start of construction is February 29, 2024.
The possession and incentive scheme is aimed at providing benefits to the members of Sector I in DHA Multan. It is expected to encourage timely construction and completion of residential and commercial units, and also help the members save on development and utility charges.
