QUETTA: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Quetta has announced its intention to hire a consultant to oversee the design and supervision of an underground electrical and grid station in the society.
The announcement was made through an Expression of Interest (EOI) inviting applications from eligible and experienced firms.
As per the details, DHA Quetta has set March 31 as the deadline for interested firms to submit their proposals. However, firms that are not registered with DHA Quetta or the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) are not eligible to submit proposals.
It is important to note that incomplete documents will be treated as non-responsive and will be rejected.
The authority also reserves the right to accept or reject all proposals at any time before the acceptance of a bid or proposal, without stating any reason.
The requirements for eligible firms to submit their proposal for the design and supervision of an underground electrical and grid station in DHA Quetta are as follows:
- Firms must be registered with DHA Quetta or the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
- Applicants must submit complete documents with their proposals.
- DHA Quetta reserves the right to accept or reject proposals without stating any reason.
- Preference will be given to Quetta Electric Supply Company Limited (QESCO)-registered firms.
This move is in line with the authority’s vision to develop an advanced high-tech, self-sustained, and environment-friendly Smart City.
Moreover, the development works include civil infrastructure comprising large residential and commercial zones.
DHA Quetta’s ambitious plans include a Grand Entrance Complex, a grand mosque, commercial buildings, parks, and the Designer’s Signature Houses.
Furthermore, the authority is focused on carrying out development work at a fast pace so they can hand over the possession of plots to their customers and make the housing society livable.
