Efforts for Affordable Housing Examined by Secretary Iftikhar Shallwani

ISLAMABAD: The Secretary of the Ministry of Housing and Works, Iftikhar Ali Shallwani, commended the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) on Monday for their prompt delivery of possession of 400 apartments to the allottees.

During a visit to Scheme-33, Gulzar-e-Hijri in Karachi, Shallwani instructed the relevant authorities to ensure the timely completion of the project and the handover of residential plots to the allottees, according to a news release.

Shallwani also inspected the initiatives undertaken by the Authority to provide affordable housing options to the people of Karachi.

Moreover, he received a briefing on the progress made thus far, the challenges faced, and the plans for the ongoing project.

Highlighting the significance of such projects for the residents of Karachi, Shallwani stressed the importance of offering quality housing options to the masses.

He directed the project director to ensure the provision of necessary infrastructure and facilities for the residents, emphasizing the need for more similar initiatives in the city.

Shallwani expressed his full support and cooperation for future endeavors of the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority, underscoring his commitment to affordable housing options in Karachi.
