FAISALABAD: On Tuesday, the Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) sealed an illegal private housing society in the city.
According to FDA sources, the enforcement team discovered that the developer had placed an advertisement for the housing society ‘Grand City’ on Satiana Road without receiving approval from the department.
The inspection was done as part of a check on the legal status of housing societies as per directions of the DG FDA.
The staff sealed the premises and gave notices to the developers, making it mandatory to seek FDA approval before making any public announcements, or else face strict legal action.
