QUETTA: Governor Balochistan, Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar, emphasized the importance of executing development projects to provide facilitation to the general public.
He expressed these sentiments during a meeting with Chief Secretary Balochistan, Abdul Aziz Uqaili, at the Governor House in Quetta.
Kakar also highlighted the financial challenges faced by various public sector universities in Balochistan.
He stressed the need to address these financial difficulties as a matter of priority to ensure the smooth functioning of higher educational institutions.
In anticipation of the upcoming budget, the Governor called for a concerted effort to allocate maximum funds, taking into account the specific challenges faced by universities and other higher education institutions.
He emphasized the significance of investing in these institutions as they play a vital role in safeguarding the future and well-being of the province’s population.
Moreover, Kakar also underscored that sustainable development and prosperity in Balochistan can only be achieved by prioritizing the interests and needs of the people in the decision-making process.
