ISLAMABAD: In a recent development, the federal government has made changes to the top administrative positions within the Ministry of Housing and Works and the Ministry of National Health Services and Regulations.
The Establishment Division issued separate notifications announcing the replacement of secretaries in both ministries.
Muhammad Fakhre Alam Irfan, a Grade-22 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service, has been transferred from the Ministry of National Health Services and Regulations to assume the role of Secretary of Housing and Works.
On the other hand, Iftikhar Ali Shallwani, also a Grade-22 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service, who previously served as Secretary of Housing and Works, has been reassigned as Secretary of National Health Services and Regulations.
Shallwani, known for his active involvement, has been regarded as one of the most diligent secretaries during his tenure in the Ministry of Housing and Works.
Besides, he also played a crucial role in overseeing ongoing projects and personally overseeing their progress.
