KARACHI: On the occasion of Pakistan’s Independence Day, HabibMetro Bank dedicated a monument at the entrance to the country’s financial district, the I. I. Chundrigar Road.
Following a flag-hoisting ceremony as a part of Independence Day celebrations, the monument was unveiled to improve the beauty of the “City of Lights”, in the presence of government representatives and top management from HabibMetro Bank.
Mohsin Ali Nathani, President and CEO of Habib Metro, remarked during the event, “HabibMetro commissioned this monument to highlight the legacy and significance of I.I. Chundrigar Road.”
“Without the direction and assistance of the KMC and the office of DC South, this effort would not have been feasible”.
The objective of this program is to further enhance Karachi’s I.I. Chundrigar Road, Pakistan’s most famous financial avenue, he stated.
The I. I. Chundrigar Road is home to the corporate headquarters of several banks and businesses, serving as a reminder to the public that this area offers something more than just the daily hustle and bustle.
