Followers of TAB City’s official Facebook page were shocked when they received a message about the project’s closure due to “Fraud FIR registered against CEO Col Taimur.”
TAB City officials, however, have said that the message is fake and that their Facebook page has been hacked by one of the society’s key people who had recently left the project.
The complete message read, “After Molana Tariq Jameel public message and due to Fraud FIR registered against our CEO Mr. Col Taimoor, TAB City is closed. Please collect your payment from the office as soon as possible.
The message continued, “TAB City has been sealed and all parties have resigned. If you have made any payments, contact the office immediately for recovery. Soon, TAB City head office will also be shut down.”
Talking to ProPakistani, MD of TAB City, Mr. Bilal, said, “The message is totally fake and TAB CIty has not been shut down so investors should not worry.”
“Our Facebook page has been hacked and we’re trying hard to recover it. We apologize to our investors for the inconvenience that the message may have caused them, and will share complete proof of the matter shortly.”
He further clarified that the propaganda was used by Mr. Mustafa Nehra who have resigned from his position on 29th September 2022.
