KARACHI: Assistant Commissioner of North Nazimabad Karachi, Hazim Bangwar, has shared an update on the progress of the construction of an ‘under the bridge’ sports facility in his area.
This initiative was started after a viral video from India showed a boy describing a friendly ‘under the bridge’ sports facility.

Despite claims that such a facility already exists in Karachi, with former city administrator Murtaza playing cricket under the bridge and sharing the video on Twitter, Bangwar’s initiative aims to provide a similar facility for the people of North Nazimabad.

Murtaza recently visited the sports facility under Lilly Bridge and played cricket with local boys, accompanied by film star Saud.
“We will keep working to revive good facilities for Karachiites,” he said. The initiative is expected to provide a positive environment for residents in the area, particularly during Ramadan.
