ISLAMABAD: The International Monetary Fund has announced funds for relief and rehabilitation activities in Pakistan’s flood-hit areas.
The IMF representative Esther Perez Ruiz disclosed in a statement that the IMF had partnered with the international community to build a relief mechanism.
According to the details, the IMF will be cooperating with the Govt of Pakistan to meet the requirements and provide relief to the flood Affectees.
Pakistan has faced a severe flood that has left a huge population in distress and has ruined the infrastructure and crops that costs up to USD 30 billion.
The government has raised concerns about the post-flood effects and has asked the international community for assistance.
