ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Indonesia inked a USD 1 million grant agreement to give humanitarian assistance to flood-affected residents in the country.
The agreement was signed in Islamabad by the head of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and Indonesian Ambassador Adam Mulawarman Tugio.
The funds will aid in the recovery and rehabilitation of the flood affectees. It will also be utilized to meet fundamental human requirements like food, nourishment, and shelter.
It is worth noting that Pakistan and Indonesia have had a strong diplomatic connection since they established diplomatic ties in 1950.
Both countries have partnered in various industries throughout these years, including trade, business, culture, and education. This newest grant arrangement demonstrates the two countries’ close friendship.
