Islamabad to Get Multiple Development Projects

The 58th Capital Development Authority (CDA) – DWP meeting, which was presided over by the CDA chairman at CDA Headquarters, has authorized different development projects for the capital territory.

The Islamabad bus service, Nilor Heights updated project, Margalla Hill Sanctuary, the road repair and widening project from Lehtrar Road, and Capital Medical College have all received approval from the CDA.

According to the information, the CDA-DWP meeting accepted the Nilor Heights amended proposal.

The Nilor Heights project consists of a high-end and low-cost component.

The price per square foot for the high-end category would be Rs 7,000 as the federal cabinet also gave its approval to FWO to carry out the project.

After resolving the Planning Commission’s concerns, the meeting also authorized the development of Margalla Hill Sanctuary Park.

The project will be carried out in partnership with the IWMB to care for, conserve, and preserve flora and fauna.

Similarly, the Islamabad bus service project for the whole city also got the green signal in the meeting at a cost of Rs 7,240.62 million.

The strategy for the creation and introduction of E-bidding in CDA was also accepted.

The road restoration and widening project from Lehtrar Road from Pinstech Gate No. 1 to Gate No. 3 was also authorized at the CDA-DWP conference.
